Hello

We are trying to run the above version. Would this work or do we need to patch? Or is there no hope for FO 9.5 on a 64-bit linux OS?

For reference, here is the exception we're getting. We've tried to add POET_HOME/lib and POET_HOME/runtime/lib in PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and java.library.path, with no success.

Hello,

The native FastObjects runtime system for FastObjects 9.5 is built with GCC 3.2. (GCC 3.4 is default compiler on RH4).

Please verify that your Java VM is 32-bit.
64-Bit Java VMs can load only shared libraries that are build for 64-Bit as well.
In FastObjects 9.5 there is 32-Bit support only.
In FastObjects 11.0 we have started to introduce 64-Bit support for Windows.

You could also check dependencies for the shared library
ldd -v libpt95Jsc.so

FastObjects 10.0 is built and tested on RedHat 4.
FastObjects 11.0 is built and tested on RedHat 5.x.

I would recommend to upgrade to FastObjects 11.0 and RedHat 5.x.

Best regards,

Nils Behncke
